Music Our music program is under the direction of Muriel Homer, Music Director. Muriel is also the choir director and organist. We have two choirs – the Chancel Choir and the Bell Choir. The only requirement for joining the Chancel Choir is that you enjoy music. Those who are interested in the Bell Choir will need to be able to read music. Both choirs practice on Wednesday evening; the Bell Choir practices at 6:45 p.m., and the Chancel Choir begins at 8 p.m. Church membership is not a requirement for joining either choir. Chancel Choir The Chancel Choir, a 24-member mixed chorus, contributes inspiration to the 11 AM worship service on the first through third Sundays. On the fourth Sunday, they particpate in the 9:30 service. Bell Choir Our Handbell Choir is under the direction of Muriel Homer
and assists in leading worship once a month. In addition, this excellent group is seen frequently in festivals and concerts throughout the northeastern Ohio area. |
